The Doc kicked me out of his office literally saying move your lazy bum out of my office. Hmm..so much for visualizing and spending time dreaming about what I should do in the event of need for surgery or becoming handicapped. Now that I know God's not going to give me any excuses to sit in the corner and sulk... did some serious thinking. I better take control of my life. Otherwise, I am going to have huge regrets later in my life. Already I am having a few .. that I solely blame myself. After a few failures despite a highly planned life, I got disillusioned that I decided to throw caution to the winds. Guess what .. I had lot of happy moments in my life.. instant gratification but when I look back, I havent acheived much by doing the same. Whatever I have achieved is because of sticking to some plan though there are unexpected things that are bound to happen. So the trick is to not get ruffled too much when things go awry. Still .. you need a plan. When you are disoriented, the plan is what will keep you on the right track.
Here goes my daily plan:
(1) Spend an hour a day researching stocks, checking all the investment accounts. This is one thing I do it once in 2 weeks(very bad .. very bad) resulting in missing the peaks and troughs in the market. I could have made a lot of money and not lost at times unnecessarily. All said and done .. I want a secure future.
(2) Take notes of some useful thoughts. Probably.. 15 minutes a day.
(3) Plan for the next day before sleep. 15 minutes.
(4) 30-45 minutes of physical activity. Does help me keep my positive attitude.
(5) Read tech news for 30 minutes.
(6) Read up job related stuff for 1 hour a day.
(7) Eat a helping of fruits, yoghurt as a late evening snack.
(8) Drink 1 glass of warm milk before hitting the sack.
(9) Cook a simple meal every day.
(10) 15 minutes of world/US news browsing and what goes in India.
(11) 3 hours a week planning on investments.
(12) 15 minutes of Amazon specific news and its competitors.
(13) Pray for 5 minutes.
Long term plan?????
