Food

I am a foodie.. I love good food. I gave up vegetarianism of 2.5yrs at Hawaii given that its famous for seafood. From the time I decided to give it up, it took me 6 meals before I could taste the first meat. It was "seared acai tuna" with soy and wasabi.. so didnt real feel anything remotely meat. So, after I came to Seattle, I went in search of carribean/hawaiian cuisine and found this place called "Waid's". The day I went, it was closed.. so headed to Kallaloo. Tried some mahi mahi and goat curry along with fried plantains.. it was great. A week later, called up Waid's.. confirmed that it was open and dragged a friend along to this place. To be frank, wursssttt restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Seriously, the fish and lamb meat felt like kept out for few days.. totally dry and oh god.. just cant describe how horrible they were. Never ever go to this place.

I went to Thai Ginger at Pacific place for the first time... tried their prawn yellow curry fried rice and crab fried rice.. both were tasty and well done. Definitely will go there again.

After a long time, I went for brunch with my girl "frand". A new place called "Couzin's cafe" on 85th street in Kirkland. Amazin menu selection. I tried half order of potato pancakes and half order of banana pancakes with bottomless coffee. The food just tasted right and the service was impeccable. The waitress was very attentive and did a great job.. will definitely go there again to try other items in the menu.

All Kallaloo's side dishes are vegetarian. The first time I went there, I was a vegetarian and managed well. The vegetarian items are good.
