Just do it

Today, I've been hearing/reading a lot about "Do it".. "Just do it". Definitely, it creates a sense of urgency :).

10 Points from Art William's speech on how to win business in America:

1. Be excited and stay excited (atleast 30 years :)). Nobody is going to listen to you otherwise.
2. Have a dream.
3. You have to feel good about yourself.
4. You need something really bad enough.
5. If you are going to win, you are going to be controversial. The only way to be not controversial is being average and ordinary.
6. Make a total commitment (you will get knocked down again and again.. but keep trying). It will give you the extra ounce of courage required during tough times. Everything will not go as you expect. You have to learn to treat people good.
7. You have to establish right kind of priorities.
8. You can never separate personal life from professional life. Long range is going to be hard if you dont have your personal life in good shape.
9. You got to be a leader. Its almost impossible for smart person to win. They spend whole life figuring things but never get around to doing it.
10. Do what ever it takes to get the job done. Do it.. do it ..do it until the job gets done. After you do, you talk about how great it is to get things done.

Just do it .. do it.. do it.. you will be happy at how well you have done with your life after doing things continuously.

Men versus Boys

Love marriages around the world:

Above is the summary of Chetan Bhagat's novel "2 States". Can someone out there drill some sense into Indian girls and Indian guys not to call this "Love marriage" ?. When they fall in love, shouldn't they be extremely aware of the expectations of their family or atleast carry on the conviction to get married by breaking hurdles until marriage takes place. Just super irritated when I see/hear people fall in love but never have the balls to make it work. Seriously think this is what differentiate real men from boys. Should I say I've rarely come across men as much as I've come across boys ?:) - Change of mind: This is not at all true. This is actually a denial :)

Weirdest dream one can ever have...

Warning: Not a pleasant post

I had this dream that some friend find something .. and we both eat.. first mouth is tasty and the second mouth when we see what we are eating is actually "shit"..giving a weird taste (making us gag) and yucks.. Probably, I got this dream couple of time last night.

Dream interpretations online says.. its a way for our subconscious mind to say we are taking too much crap in life :).. Extrapolating it to my dream, I was thinking is it that somebody is feeding me crap and I take it at face-value.. when in reality or with a critical eye.. seems all crap.. No idea..
