Response to a 'Vinnaithaandi varuvaaya:not a review"

I stumbled upon a blog entry while looking for others' view point on that movie. From my perspective, it was a good movie. My response is totally on the aspect of closure in relationships the reviewer was looking for. I still have not come across a good definition of closure in a relationship. If a person moves on, does that mean the person has reached a closure ?. One can never ever guess why/what/how something happened nor reach a conclusion by reasoning out. It will be always a mixed bag of feelings when you spend time pondering over it or with one dominating emotion over others depending on the memories triggered. May be, one can be in talking terms with the other person and even wish well, does that mean there's forgiveness or friendship in the air between the two?. Once a relationship is broken, it is damaged beyond repair, where superficially indifference prevails but deep down, there is feeling of betrayal/hurt/guilt.
