Recently, I met a gentleman in the Seattle airport who told me that he has 13 kids. I couldnt resist asking him how he managed that :P. With a chuckle, he said 8 of them were adopted. I was just dumbfound. With awe, I went on to listen to his story. All the adopted kids knew they were adopted. From his perspective, he adopted them to give them a chance to live a better quality life. At times, he and his wife made sacrifices so that they can adopt one more kid. His wife home schools some of them whereas some kids go to the local school on their own volition. He takes care of them until they are ready to take off. He doesnt have any expectations but confessed that adoption is emotionally a very rewarding experience. It was very refreshing to see a person full of life and lighthearted at his age. Hmm.. I want to be like him at that age :).
His name is Bob Little and he runs a construction business in Bremerton. If you or anybody you know of is interested in adoption, contact him at http://www.little-little.com/. He runs the construction company. His wife is an expert in the adoption process and can help you out for minimal or no fee.
