Pomegranate Molasses

I found this in the Italian grocery store near my office parking lot. I tried making a drink out of it.. pretty decent except for its tartness requiring sugar. Now, I am kinda caught up on making use of it in cooking. Having become a vegetarian, I am left with very few options since this is primarily used in middle eastern recipes.
I am planning to use this recipe http://www.writingwithmymouthfull.com/2006/11/25/pomegranate-meatballs-with-tomato-mint-salad-recipe/ by replacing the meat balls with my version of vegetarian balls (made using a mix of mashed potato, carrot, cauliflower and peas). I will let you know how it comes out.

Another one.. dont know when the opportunity will strike. http://milwaukeemasala.wordpress.com/2008/11/16/party-recipes-1-mohammara-dip/
