What do you think about Slumdog Millionaire ?

Its real good entertainment. One of its biggest plus is that it is not melodramatic, and the kids :). What is great about the choice of music is that it conveys .. people do still get to have their happy moments however harsh their reality is. One scene that does flip you is.. where the kid jumps into shit to go and see his hero. There's beauty in that scene.. the innocence and the purity of his craze for the hero...the movie throbs with life..due credits to Danny Boyle for mixing the right elements together to make this movie. I really liked the acting of those kids and the portrayal of Mumbai life. There seemed a lot of genuineness in Dev's acting..not much to say about Freida since she has very little screen time. I wouldnt say this is the best of AR Rahman and am actually surprised that he should get an award for this.. though he deserves one for his contribution to Film Music. Its definitely a feel good movie.. no wonder people love it :). Danny Boyle definitely deserves the award he got.
